Athens Medical Group (AMG) was established in 1984. Its goal: to provide high quality, integrated healthcare services, based on a patient – centered approach. From the first years of its operation, it became a “catalyst” of progress in Healthcare, being the first Greek Medical Institution to introduce state-of-the-art medical equipment and secure collaborations with distinguished scientists, thus providing services equal to those of internationally acclaimed hospitals.
Serving its founder’s vision, Athens Medical Group initiated in 2016, the Athens Medical Leadership and Innovation Conference (AMLI), a biannual organization which has successfully been serving as a platform where top scientists from Athens Medical Group and their global counterparts discuss the latest trends in their respective fields of expertise.
AMLI I, 2016: innovations on the following healthcare sectors were discussed: oncology, robotic surgery, orthopaedics, cardiology-cardiovascular surgery, neurology-neurosurgery, internal medicine, cosmetic medicine, obstetrics gynecology, paediatrics & a section focusing on the scientific cooperation with Yale University.

AMLI II, 2018: Not only a wide scientific agenda was included, but also a special section focusing on the global mega trends that drive patient mobility, such as healthcare digital transformation and cross boarder healthcare, were rigorously discussed. Additionally, the important role of patient advocacy was emphasized.
