Consistent with its strategy to develop Medical Tourism, Athens Medical Group had a strong presence at the HTI Conference that was held in Rovinj, Croatia. Athens Medical Group was the only participant from Greece and its executives have demonstrated the unique potential of Greece and its competitive advantages in the Medical Tourism Industry sector. They have also presented the pioneering health care services offered by the Group's Hospitals to international patients. The excellent performance of the Athens Medical Group, which presented its infrastructure, organization and experience in Medical Tourism in an outstanding manner, granted Greece the "Greece: An emerging Health tourism destination" award.
The conference is one of the most important events in the field of Medical Tourism and a meeting point for various health care and tourism professionals from around the globe. It was co-organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy and was held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Ministries of Tourism and Health.
Athens Medical Group participated in the conference, as part of its strategy to develop Medical Tourism. AMG has contributed towards promoting the competitive advantages of Greece, with a view to strengthening Greece's position in the Medical Tourism market, while it also invited the organizers to hold one of their future conferences in Greece.
